Treasures Of India
Story Behind:
I was invited to meet the Mr. D.V.Singh, The Head of Chancery, Indian Consulate, Atlanta,GA. This painting was specially created keeping in mind the values, culture and traditions of India. When I started my painting titled “Treasures of India”, I had just two things on my mind. One was to create an art piece which summates the versatility of arts from India and secondly, a painting which unites the beauty of my motherland, connecting every dot & every region with its magnificent art forms. In this process, I researched for various regions and their indigenous art forms. Art is the backbone of India. Since ancient times, be it Architectural wonders, sculptures, magnificent cave paintings, murals, various dance forms, art of puppetry, folk and tribal paintings, to various musical instruments played by our very own geniuses of arts field.
